Yi Lu

Yi Lu joined Notre Dame Learning’s Office of Digital Learning as a Learning Designer in April of 2023 after graduating from New York University with a master’s degree in learning design. In her role, she collaborates with stakeholders to develop engaging and effective instructional content. Through the use of multimedia elements such as simulations, gamification, and interactive modules, she consistently strives to increase learner engagement and knowledge retention.

Keeping abreast of the latest learning trends and technologies has led Yi to continuously explore new tools and methodologies, ensuring that her designs are both innovative and effective. As an advocate of learner-centered design, she loves the combination of learning analytics, game-based learning, and user experience design to better meet learners’ needs.

Before joining ND Learning, she worked in instructional design and education consulting for a variety of educational environments, ranging from K-12 to higher education in China and the US.
