If assignments help us evaluate students, who evaluates the assignments? This workshop looks at how to use your Canvas data and built-in analytics to understand how your students interact with your assignments, how to understand the interplay between students and specific tasks, and how to improve your assignments and tests. Through this, participants will gain an understanding of all the Canvas data behind homework, tests and quizzes such as click action logs, distractor performance, student time on test/question, number of attempts, and time on attempts. The tools and strategies offered in this workshop will empower participants to make more effective assessments and other assignments, analyze them more efficiently, and take data-driven action to improve learning.
