  1. Journal Article | Instructors’ Perceptions of the Use of Learning Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making

    Alex Ambrose of Notre Dame Learning’s Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence and Arnon Hershkovitz and Tal Soffer of Tel Aviv University published a study of instructors and teaching assistants at a research university in Israel regarding their perceptions of the usefulness of data about student activity found on course websites.   2. Presentation | Shaping AI Strategy for Faculty Development Through Instructional Design

    Steve Varela, director of teaching & learning technologies, presented a poster at the 2024 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference highlighting Notre Dame Learning’s resources related to AI, including the AI for Teaching and Learning video series. Co-authors of the poster, titled “Shaping AI Strategy for Faculty Development Through Instructional Design,” were Crystal DeJaegher, Sonia Howell, and Kuangchen Hsu.

  3. Journal Article | Comparing Students’ Multicultural Awareness Development in Online vs. Face-to-Face Diversity Courses Before, During, and After COVID-19

    In this study, Horane Diatta-Holgate of Notre Dame Learning’s Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence and colleagues Aparajita Jaiswal, Ronald J. Smith, Pamala V. Morris, and Kris Acheson of Purdue University used the Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory (BEVI) instrument to assess the multicultural awareness development of undergraduates in an agriculture course focused on diversity and social justice. Appeared in Trends in Higher Education.
