Transparent Assignment Design

Transparent Assignment Design results in a positive impact on self-efficacy and a sense of belonging for all students, and a stronger impact on students from underrepresented groups in higher education. It makes learning processes explicit, fosters the development of students’ metacognition, confidence, and sense of belonging, and benefits both underserved and high-achieving students. In this workshop, you will apply the transparent design framework to assignments in your class.
