Anti-racist Pedagogy

In the midst of the recent racial justice movement, it is important to consider how anti-racist teaching can contribute to an inclusive classroom environment. As Ibram Kendi writes in How to be an Antiracist, “There is no neutrality in the racism struggle.” As such, this session will offer strategies and resources for prioritizing representation for BIPOC students (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), facilitating challenging conversations that may arise from anti-racist teaching, and dismantling racial hierarchies that impede student success.

In addition to this workshop, we’re pleased to offer an article in our Resource Library on “Anti-racist Pedagogy: What, Why, and How?”
