How It Works: The 20-Minute Blueprint
Every session follows a What, Why, How format. This one will cover:
- What: Replacing "Click Here" and raw URLs with meaningful, descriptive link text.
- Why: Screen reader users often skim pages by jumping from link to link. Hearing "click here, click here, link, link" provides zero context and makes navigation difficult.
- How: How to write destination-focused anchor text (e.g., "Review the Syllabus" vs. "Click Here") and quickly hyperlink text in your documents, LMS editor, etc.
To help you save even more time, we will also highlight smart strategies for leveraging generative AI to fast-track these accessibility fixes wherever possible.
