Inclusive Excellence in the Classroom

-

Location: 246 Hesburgh Library

Explore identity, challenge biases, and develop strategies for an inclusive environment. This workshop aims to deepen understanding of personal and collective identities through the lenses of race, gender, and class. We will address key issues such as micro-aggressions, implicit bias, stereotype threat, and imposter syndrome, understanding how they might impact classroom dynamics. Through interactive discussions and activities, we aim to grow cultural awareness and inclusivity. Attendees will leave the workshop with practical pedagogical strategies to create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.
