In this workshop, we will cover strategies for engaging students in effective discussions, co-creating participation goals with students, and fairly and effectively assessing engagement. We will explore how to prepare for, facilitate, and debrief classroom discussions. We will also consider how to mitigate lackluster participation and create an environment that encourages active discussion.
