-

Location: 246 Hesburgh Library

How do you structure class time to ensure all students have an opportunity to participate? How do you prepare yourself and your students to engage in discussions about potentially polarizing topics? In this session we will discuss some practices you can use to add structure to class discussions as a whole class or in small groups that encourage respectful and inclusive dialogues that meet your course outcomes.

Facilitators:

  • James Lang, Professor of the Practice, Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence
  • Horane Diatta-Holgate, Program Director of Inclusive Pedagogy, Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence
