In this workshop, we will discuss how to support faculty who hope to scale-up instructional practices or change teaching norms in their department. We will approach this challenge from two perspectives: who is important to get involved in change efforts and how to conceptualize a department’s context toward realizing a change goal. We will explore strategies for harnessing leadership and social networks to institutionalize new changes.
