In this workshop, we will share principles, strategies and best practices to help professors prepare for challenging but important classroom conversations on potentially controversial topics. We will discuss methods for professors and students to engage in meaningful and equitable dialogue, tools to respond in the moment to sensitive questions and comments, and approaches for follow-up after difficult discussions.
