A course syllabus is critical to setting the tone of a class and can help pave the way to enhancing students’ feelings of inclusiveness and support. This workshop will discuss and share examples of elements of inclusive syllabi and discuss techniques to show students that their diverse perspectives and experiences are valued. Attendees will be encouraged to share their own strategies for incorporating inclusivity into their course syllabi.
