William Donaruma

As a Professor in Filmmaking in the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre, William (aka Bill) specializes in both narrative and documentary filmmaking.  His work as a filmmaker spans the globe, but also includes a class documenting the local barns of Indiana.  His current project, Nets of Memory, is a feature documentary on Irish Immigration, identity, and memory working with archeology professor Ian Kuijt.  As Creative Director for The Office of Digital Learning, he strives to bring a fun and fresh perspective to learning and information delivery.

In his spare time, he likes to work in his yard, train for endurance events, and spend quality time with his wife, children, cats, and dog.
