Learning Designer

Brianna Stines

Brianna joined the ND Learning team in March of 2020, amidst the early days of a campus shutdown and global pandemic. Born and raised in the South Bend area, she had always hoped for a chance to be a part of the ND community someday. As a Learning Designer, she collaborates with faculty and other campus entities to create online and hybrid courses, design effective digital learning assets, and advocate effective, evidence-based practices in various modalities.

Before coming to Notre Dame, Brianna spent five years as a high school Spanish teacher and Digital Integration Specialist. Working closely with OIT and Curriculum and Instruction teams, she supported colleagues by sharing proven instructional technology techniques and creating transformative learning experiences. Accompanying colleagues in this way led Brianna to pursue an advanced degree in education. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education and Spanish from Indiana University and an M.S.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University.
