OLA Team Bios

The Office of Learning Analytics team uses a subset of student and administrative data and analytics with similar, and at times potentially overlapping, purposes and activities to other organizations on campus, including departments/colleges, the Registrar’s office and OIT. OLA will liaison and collaborate with OSPIR on any access to admin or protected data, and ensure all activities follow university policy as affirmed by University leadership and formal governance processes as well as best practices ethical data science.

The OLA team also collaborates with instructors, academic units, and ND Learning colleagues to conduct and support applied learning research on campus through the fields of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), Discipline-Based Educational Research (DEBER), Learning Sciences, and Learning Analytics. We can also work with you on survey design, administration, analysis, and visualization; focus group and interview support; and learning analytics with data access, analysis, and visualization.
