Supporting student mental health and wellbeing is always important, but it has become even more urgent in the wake of COVID-19, which has exacerbated pre-existing mental health issues among college students. How can we, as instructors, bolster student wellbeing as we battle the lingering physical and mental effects of the pandemic? In this panel—a collaboration among the Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence, Student Government, and the Center for Student Support and Care—undergraduates from across disciplines will provide a student perspective on how instructors can best support students’ mental, physical, and emotional wellness in the classroom.
