Pat Miller

Pat Miller is team lead and an academic tech specialist on the Office of Information Technology’s Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT) team, which works hand-in-hand with Notre Dame Learning. He has been at Notre Dame for nearly 30 years, and his current work focuses on the administration of Canvas, third-party integrations to Canvas, and learning analytics. He has a particular interest in the 1EdTech standards of Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) and Caliper and in promoting the adoption of those standards.

Before TLT, Pat spent 20 years working with the Banner administrative system at the University. He has also worked as a high school physics teacher and in healthcare as a medical physicist and then as a radiation therapy administrator. 

Pat has a B.S. in physics from Notre Dame as well as an M.S.Ed. and an MBA from Indiana University South Bend.
