Nara Schmitt

A member of the Notre Dame Learning team since February 2023, Nara Schmitt is the Program Manager for Teaching Initiatives. In this role, she serves as the first point of contact for Notre Dame Learning and supports a variety of projects and programs ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of instructor-focused initiatives, including workshop series, visiting speakers, the Notre Dame Inclusive Teaching Academy, summer reading programs, and TA and faculty orientations. She also provides direct assistance to the unit directors—coordinating travel, scheduling, event planning, and other administrative functions.

Nara earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Anhanguera University in Campinas-São Paulo, Brazil, in 2012. Outside of work, she enjoys all things “coffee,” training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and yoga, travelling, and playing trivia.
