Chad Hoefle
Academic Tech Specialist
Chad Hoefle is an academic tech specialist on the Office of Information Technology’s Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT) team, which works hand-in-hand with Notre Dame Learning. He currently focuses on enterprise administration for Canvas and the University’s Adobe license as well as exploring how XR tools can benefit the classroom experience.
Chad has been at Notre Dame since 2013 and previously served as the Zoom service offering manager, overseeing contract negotiations for annual agreements and leading the implementation of collaboration tools across campus. He has a particular interest in human-centered technology and leveraging emerging platforms to enhance global learning and digital literacy.
Beyond the University, Chad served as president of Twins Suns Charities, Inc., for seven years, raising more than $220,000 to benefit children and families in their fights against cancer, and taught Adobe applications as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University. He holds professional certificates in executive management and nonprofit management from the Stayer Center for Executive Education at Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and has been the featured speaker at educational tech conferences in Africa. He is also passionate about 3D graphics, design, and 3D printing.
