Listening to music
online
Jan Hagens,
German, wanted his students to listen to songs as part of their
intermediate language class. We digitized the music
and organized it into a restricted web site. |
 |
Publishing
handouts with Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
Doug Hall, Electrical
Engineering, wanted his students to be able to easily download
and
print lecture notes with live
web links. We helped him convert pages from a WebCT
course into PDF
files. Many faculty use this format to distribute
syllabi and homework assignments. |

Interactive
illustration
Paul Kollman,
Theology, wanted "Christianity in Africa" students to
have an easy way to learn the names of African countries. We
created
an interactive
map and incorporated it with other multimedia resources on
a
web
site. |

Archiving
multimedia lectures
Esther-Mirjam Sent,
Economics, wanted her students to be able to review her lectures
after class. We helped her record her voice and on-screen illustrations,
integrated them with her PowerPoint presentations, and created compressed
QuickTime movies of the lectures. (requires
QuickTime plugin) |
